Deer Valley Unified School District Takes Education Seriously

The Deer Valley Unified School District (DVUSD) in Phoenix serves communities in Phoenix, Anthem, Peoria, New River, Glendale, Cave Creek and portions of unincorporated Maricopa County with 38 schools. DVUSD includes 17 developmental preschool sites, 12 pre-K sites, and 7 preschools, as well as 15 K-6 grade schools, 14 K-8 grade schools, 3 middle schools (7-8 grades), 5 high schools (9-12 grades), and 1 alternative campus. Attendance and graduation rates are both at 95 percent.

The DVUSD received the “Training New Certified Employees to Maintain a Culture of Continuous Improvement” Showcase in Excellence Award from the Southwest Alliance of Excellence.
