Litchfield Schools Celebrating 100 Years of Helping Students Succeed

The Litchfield Elementary School District (LESD) enjoys TOP TEN status of all the Public Districts in the State of Arizona. It is an “A” Rated School District and is the #1 Elementary School District in Arizona. Fifteen schools make up LESD, including Barbara B. Robey Elementary School and Wigwam Creek Middle School.

The LESD turned 100 in 2017, having started in 1917. There was a centennial celebration on October 20, 2017, to honor the District’s 100th Anniversary. The LESD Educational Foundation undertook a campaign to pave “Centennial Way.” It’s a special opportunity for alumni, local businesses, family and friends, and community supporters to showcase their community commitment to quality education in the district. For each Legacy Brick purchased, an endowment will be created to recognize teacher and staff excellence.

Home to the Rattlers, this school serves students from Pre-K through fifth grade. Its mission statement is “to challenge, nurture, and inspire all students to reach their highest academic and personal potential.” Barbara B. Wigwam Creek Middle School

Wigwam Creek Middle School is an “A+” Rated School of Excellence. The Litchfield Elementary School District provides opportunities for students to succeed on many levels. Teachers and staff are amazing and supportive, and they continue to strive to find new and exciting ways to provide learning opportunities for each and every student.
