Welcome to South Scottsdale
While many of the residents have lived in the area for several decades, more and more business professionals and adult college students are choosing South Scottsdale as their home.
With easy accessibility to the Loop 101 Pima Freeway and the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway, South Scottsdale residents benefit from the area's short commute to downtown Phoenix, Arizona State University and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Additionally, South Scottsdale is surrounded by plenty of entertainment venues and a wealth of options for enjoying outdoor recreation, dining, shopping and nightlife.
Diverse group of families, professionals, students, young adults, and retirees.
Following demolition of South Scottsdale’s Los Arcos Mall and other once-popular but now outdated strip malls in the community, the area has seen much improvement including the addition of Arizona State University's SkySong high-tech campus plus major employers such as HonorHealth and General Dynamics. Thanks to these and other high-dollar renovations — including the addition of new business, entertainment and retail shopping centers — residents of South Scottsdale have seen an increase in home values in the area.
